Don’t take chances with your family’s safety and security. Protect your family and property and allow InsurGuard to provide you and your loved ones with peace of mind.
Saskatchewan owned and operated InsurGuard Security has served the province of Saskatchewan for more than 20 years.
Never before has making your home safe and secure been so easy and inexpensive. No matter the level of security you want, know that InsurGuard will help you design the security system that best suits your needs.
Other Alarm Companies may offer a “free” system to get in your door but by the time they leave your basic “free” system will be padded with extras and incidentals that will cost you more.
Let us help you design the system that best suits your needs.
Life Safety and Environmental Sensors
Not only can our security systems protect you against burglary but we can protect your family and home in other ways.
Monitored Smoke Detectors – Fire is a very dangerous intruder. With a monitored smoke detector you can protect your family, pets and property from injury and loss, and bring a fire rescue crew to the scene in minutes.
Monitored CO Detector – CO detectors are designed to measure CO levels over time and sound an alarm before dangerous levels of CO accumulate in an environment, giving people adequate warning to safely ventilate the area or evacuate. Ours are connected to the SecurTek Monitoring station and emergency services will be sent if necessary.
Monitored Low Temp Sensor – A Monitored low temp sensor tells the SecurTek Monitoring station when the temperature in the home reaches 4.5 degrees Celsius (40 degrees Fahrenheit), which clearly means your furnace has failed. With a monitored low temp sensor many insurance companies remove your responsibility of having someone check your home every day in the winter when you are away. Consult your Insurance broker.
Monitored Flood Sensor – Flooding can often go undetected for hours, causing extensive property damage. A monitored flood sensor will report to SecurTek immediately when it detects water giving you the ability to fix the problem as soon as possible saving property and money.
Interactive Services and Home Automation
Interactive Services will effectively allow you to be in two places at the same time, using devices that are already part of your everyday activities. Interactive Services can provide you the freedom to check in on your home, or business from almost anywhere in the world. You will be able to arm and disarm your system remotely, view the last 100 system events, manage users and codes and receive texts when system has been armed or disarmed to name a few features.
The Interactive Services integrate into your alarm system, using Internet Protocol and wireless networks to transmit information and video images from your premises directly to your cellphone, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android device or personal computer. Reacquaint yourself with the capabilities of your alarm system and discover the untapped potential at your fingertips!
Transform your Saskatchewan home into a smart home that you can control from anywhere in the world. Whether it be turning the heat up or down, arming or disarming your security system, locking or unlocking your doors, viewing a camera and turning the lights off and on we have the solution.
Control Your Thermostat
Saskatchewan in the winter as we all know is a cold place to be, but we also have some very warm summers. A system that allows you to remotely access your thermostat with your smartphone or mobile device can not only allow you to reduce your energy consumption but it assures that your home or cabin is the perfect temperature every time you step through your front door.
Arm Your System From Anywhere
We all forget to set the alarm. Instead of wondering whether your alarm is set, driving all the way home to double check, setting the alarm and then leaving again just to be late for work or missing out on extracurricular activities, you can check the status of your alarm system remotely using your smartphone or mobile device.
Lighting at Your Fingertips
You can easily control your lights automatically remotely, adding convenience and energy savings to the abundance of features you will have available to you.
One of the most convenient features of an interactive system is the ability to turn your lights on ahead of you before you get home after a late night of work. With just a click of a button, your living room lights and porch light will be on and inviting you to come inside and relax. Never walk into a dimly lit entry way, leaving yourself open to unexpected visitors again.
With over 20 year of experience specializing in Video Surveillance Systems, we’ve learned which system works in particular environments.
InsurGuard offers top-tier HD video technology, including the most advanced video solutions on the market.
Listening and understanding our clients’ needs is crucial. By understanding the security issues and specific concerns of our clients, we’re able to provide a site survey that addresses the unique security needs of the property.
We’re able to create a customized video surveillance solution based on our clients’ budgets, recommending cost-effective solutions if needed, or premium services for high-end requirements.
Primary Benefits of High Definition (HD) Video Surveillance:
Superior Image Quality – Higher Definition Video is the best method to capture detail such as face recognition and license plates. We only utilize HD Video Surveillance to ensure the highest possible video quality.
Wider Coverage. Fewer Cameras – A single HD camera can easily cover the same area you would need up to four analog cameras, giving you a cost-effective solution with clearer footage from a single camera.
Remote Viewing – By utilizing our user-friendly Remote Viewing App, you can access your HD video feed directly from your mobile device, tablet, laptop and PC from anywhere, and at any time.

Now with Fall Detection
Most serious injuries in the home involve a fall and any delay in receiving assistance can jeopardize or lengthen your recovery. With our Medical Alert, you can add a Fall Detection device to your system which will automatically trigger an alarm to call SecurTek if it detects that you have fallen. The device can be worn as a pendant or discreetly clipped to your belt or clothing. It also includes a button to press should you require assistance.
